Tasteful Soul

Luscious mac and cheese crowned with a golden crust, fried chicken seasoned to nostalgic perfection, collard greens with a playful twist, and plush cornbread kissed with just enough sweetness to leave you craving another slice. It’s comfort on a plate—made with memory, mastery, and a whole lot of love.
Soul food in the desert? You might question it, but Chef Corinne Hill is determined to prove it belongs. So convinced, in fact, she packed up her life, left Pennsylvania and crossed the country to call Palm Springs home.
While she admits some ingredients take extra effort to source, Hill takes every challenge in stride. A self-taught chef inspired by her grandmother’s recipes, she founded Tasteful Soul, a catering company where classic dishes shine with her own personal flair.
Beyond catering, Corinne also works as a private chef, bringing the same heart and heritage from her grandmother’s kitchen to every table she serves. This isn’t just comfort food, it’s translation, southern comfort flavors have relocated west.
