Summers Are Cool Again
For decades, summer in the desert has been reduced to one predictable storyline: it's hot. Riveting.
But, here's the tea- instead of noise. When the temperature rises, Palm Springs transforms into something even more irresistible. The crowds disappear, the pools shimmer a little brighter, luxury resorts reward your quest and become delightfully well priced.
This is the season of unhurried lunches, sun-drenched architecture, cocktails that stretch well past sunset, spontaneous staycations, and a creative community that knows great style never checks the thermometer. Summer isn't something to survive here. It's something to savor.
Oasis Magazine and Victory Creative Agency joined forces (and accessories) to prove that a Palm Springs staycation is definitely in the forecast. We’re talking spa days at the Avalon, a moody dinner at Melvyn’s dripping in old-school elegance and romance, and enough cinematic charm to make even You, Me & Tuscany feel like a quick errand. Add in the Palm Springs Art Museum, offering a cool escape from the desert sun and a view worth lingering over, and suddenly summer starts looking less like something to survive and more like something to book immediately.
At the center of it all is an original anthem titled “Summers Are Cool Again,” written and produced by Victory Creative Agency. The song is paired with a cinematic music video filmed throughout Palm Springs, spotlighting some of the city’s most beloved hospitality partners and capturing the lifestyle, glamour, and personality that make this destination impossible to imitate.
Rather than creating a traditional tourism commercial, we approached the campaign like a fashion editorial with a beat. Think elevated cinematography, aspirational imagery, Palm Springs attitude, and a little wink of mischief, all wrapped inside a music video that reminds everyone what desert insiders have known all along: summer here was never the off-season. It was just waiting for the right soundtrack.
